This is the type of image that I was looking to capture with my recently purchased Sigma 180 Macro. It's simply too bad that Sigma isn't making this lens any more, I'm glad that I bought a copy!
Simply a gorgeous image Tom, that's one for the wall. I looked at that lens and ended up with a 200 micro nikkor it is a great lens and I would own one if I could have found one in stock somewhere. It definitely opens up some bug photography opportunities as that little bit of extra reach makes a big difference with bugs.
I know you showed me this image on your monitor- but when I can sit a foot away from it at my computer- it is even more stunning...
